If the Phone Doesn’t Ring, It’s Me

3578740510.jpgWhat a nice couple of days in Portland, and I suppose Sunday should be nice as well. Friday was great, in the 70’s, and today was in the 8o’s. I managed to get up to Council Crest in southwest Portland, which is the highest point in the city. It was a perfectly clear day, and you could see all the mountains, St. Helens, Adams, and Hood. I remember going to this park last summer, in ‘07, but I guess the sky was hazy that day, because I would remember a view that nice.

I managed to get out and do some light running, more of a sprint workout today, at the hottest part of the day too. I’m slower than I’ve ever been, and I’m ok with that. I just wish that my back would not be so sore. I did some reading as well today, and went to the rooftop garden and got another view of the mountains and the city while I streched out and enjoyed my PowerAid. I decided to return my tv(well, it still hadn’t come in yet, I just canceled the order). I think that I’ll keep the coffe table though. I think that I managed to spend another hour checking out KU video clips and reading articles. And I noticed that football is in the air…
