If the Phone Doesn’t Ring, It’s Me

3597357923.jpg  Well, I’m happy to say that my bracket has the Jayhawks going this far, and even one game further. Let’s hope for the best on Monday. What an exciting game, from start to finish. That was by far one of the most enjoyable games I’ve seen in a while. I hope no one tuned out when they were up big, you just knew Carolina would eventually make a run. As for me, I have no animosity towards Roy, although there are several other thousands who believe otherwise. He is happy where he is at right now. Isnt’ that what we all want for ourselves each day in our lives? I sure hope that anyone that has ill feelings towards Coach Williams would reconsider. Why would you want to wish bad things upon anyone, like being happy that his team lost. Just silly to me. Be happy that KU won rather than gloating that Roy “choked again” as most will say.

Ok, enough about that. How about my bowling score you ask? Ok, well last week I bowled my best game ever, and my best 2 scores in the same day combined score as well. I went 156 followed by 181. Not bad, I’ll take it, even though I was at 102 after 5 frames of the 2nd game. Still, I sort of like this semi-athletic, semi-competitive “game” called bowling. Heck, I might even call it a sport. I think I was sweating once, but that might have been from the jalapeno pepers in the nachos rather than the quick movements I was making on the court…or the lane I should say.

  1. You would be amazed by the amount of KU fans out here. Just saw a couple more on my way to breafast. Can’t beat a good, “Rock Chalk” shout from across the street on your way to chow.

  2. Nick…is number 45 a new addition late in the season or did he play all year? He was a mix of me, wolf, nick j, base and big D.

  3. Cole Aldrich, he’s been around, but hasn’t played a lot. Mid-season he started seeing more minutes. He’s a throwback for sure. Lot’s of elbows and hurting people.

  4. i’m so ridiculously excited for tomorrow night. i plan to go to the ku alumni watch site in sf to watch the game…although, judging by the number of jayhawk license plate things i’ve seen since living here, i bet i could find some fans almost anywhere….
i *almost* felt sorry for roy yesterday. he looked so disappointed in the first half. i don’t hold any ill will toward him, but i’m certainly glad his team didn’t win yesterday.
