The Trailblazers are in camp now, the city is abuzzz and ready to go(and still optimistic even without Greg Oden). I think to replace my KU hoops fix(KSU fans don’t really know the feeling of rooting on a solid bball team, but they are getting there, and that’s good for competition in the state of Kansas) I am going to get a 6 game package for the Blazers. I just hope that they play hard and work at getting better each game.
I’ll be in Oklahoma Fri-Sun for a wedding. My pal DC is getting married, and I’m pumped to be in the wedding party. There will be a lot of familiar faces there. Hopefully it’s a bit sunny, since the rain is slowly setting in. However, during my ride to work, it went from totally cloudy and grey to sunny and raining, and back to grey within 20 minutes. I sort of enjoyed that.
Bowling went well, we are now 4-0. Our gals stepped up, and Kevin’s wife Genny(the best bowler in the house) managed to bowl a 195 which will probably be the highest female score of the season. As for me, my second game I bombed out at 98. But for my first game, I came prepared. Well, I actually showed up late, because I missed 2 different exits to the alley on my way from work(I won’t try to drive again from work, I’ll just come home and take the max like we normally do). I ended up way north and east of my destination, looped back around, and after what should have been 20 min. but was actually an hour on the road, I strolled in, laced my shoes up, grabbed my ball(since it was my turn) and rolled a strike. The next time up, strike again. Third time was a charm for the turkey. But after that, I settled into reality, and scored a 166 when it was all said and done. Still my high for the season, and I think I last posted my goal was 125. My mom gave me some good pointers on my approach and it worked. One more week of league play and then the tournament.
I did get to finally watch the Chiefs play. Wasn’t it great to see them take down the Chargers on the road? They looked a lot better the 2nd half. Who knows, in the AFC West, in might only take 9 or 10 wins for the division. Ok, to close out, we all know what’s going on Sat. KU-KSU. I’m feeling the win. I won’t say any more on this topic. We’ll just wait and see who’s standing tall on Sat. afternoon.

You know Senor, im a little dissapointed that Greg Oden got hurt. Didnt get to see the supposedly “rookie” play his first game in the NBA. How is Portland handling it? But when Kobe come to Portland, expext 81 and hope you have that as one of you 6 game packages.
